Due to the delights of an inflexible rota in an understaffed NHS hospital, our family tickets for the most Chorlton (for those Manchester based, think Shoreditch if not, not idea of the equivalent in other cities, sorry!) of Festivals, the Widerness Festival, are up for sale.

Full details of who's playing, what events are on etc on the website but the headliners are Bjork and Ben Howard though I'm gutted to miss Roisin Murphy. There's loads of other stuff going on, a great kids field, lots of fantastic food (that does come at a price I'll concede) a nice lake to swim in, all day cricket match etc. We've got two adult and on child ticket in family camping and we've paid for parking too. If you've more than one child and want to go, extra child tickets are £5 for under 11s and they are still available. Obviously we'd love to sell them at face value but as there are still tickets available, make me an offer and we can go from there! As the child ticket was a fiver we're to happy to just sell the adult tickets so it's not just an offer to families.
P.S. The late night revelry in the hidden valley is something else.... Well, it's an awesome location and atmosphere, it might not compare to some of the nights the UKB stalwarts remember/don't remember from the 90s.....
