What is the best car you have had, for cragging adventures?
How many pads can it fit?
Can you sleep in the back, comfortably?

like 20 if you haven't fitted the ICE

of course! 5 litres of American muscle!

Never had any issues with my octavia estate tdi (apart from the electric sunroof opening and closing randomly sometimes).

Now have a berlingo hdi. Cost me a grand, fits a shit load of pads in and I can still fit the thing in small parking spaces. Assume I could sleep in it reasonably comfortably. Terrible to drive.

Mate had one, off roading on tracks all around Provence.  Indestructible.

Kia Ceed- cheap, reliable, fits 2 highballs in boot. (I took mine round the forecourt shoving it into various makes and models of boot. Ceed was best).

It depends on how much you have to spend.

I have a 61plate Octavia Tdi (1.6) and while I wouldn't fancy sleeping in it it's a very impressive car for the /£££, Manchester to FOnt on <1 tank, it will cruise at 85, if you're looking for a cheaper motor I'd say 2008/09 Mondeo estate TDi

Don't know if they turn up much/ or are expensive in the U.K, but I love my Dacia Logan estate, made in Romania, so probably better made than the Renault's of the parent company. Same engine as a Renault too.
