Enjoyed it, if you're a gangle it will be easy, harder for dwarves.

Put some thoughts down here.

Mid Eighties now, was trying these lines in the early eighties, he would often aid those cruxes he couldn't do (if possible) and then recruit a young stevie haston to free them. Bushmaster and Razors Edge are an example of this, but he only aided the crux, and there's a lot of climbing on those routes (1982).

No one "recruited" Haston to go and free The Razor's Edge.

Pointed may have been a better turn of phrase. Joe certainly talked about getting Stevie involved with bushmaster, I cant remember if they went on it together. maybe I'll ask Stevie next time he's about..

ahhh  :-[
having Just checked my FA list, I see the Issue Mr C.
Razors Edge was a different deal to Bushmaster as Joe climbed it a decade before your FFA, I guess that may have prompted Joe wanting to get Stevie involved in Bushmaster which was climbed the same year as your FFA.

What was your impression of the back wall back then?
Nowadays its seems ignored/ considered too serious for the effort, although I've "enjoyed" every visit so far
