Had a trip to Rum over Easter where Chris Everett smashed out one of the project he eye-balled 4 years ago and a few new hard lines. Only 4 problems in the video, but i may pull together what pics I have of the other additions.

Problems
Cell Block H - Font 7C - Found in 2010, seemed impossible.
Serious Music - Font 7B+ - Good holds, leading to a massive move to the lip from a small crimp sidepull
The Kracken - Font 6C - Immense crack eliminate
La Jura Jura - Font 7C+ - I thought Chris was joking when he showed me the holds, the starting crimps are tiny. The moves are wild, overall a really impressive problem.

Plenty of potential left, we have around 100 problems documented (mostly at lower grades) but there are a few projects and heaps of boulders we haven't even looked at. The full problem list is on the UKC page and the guide (which needs updating) along with a google map showing the boulder locations is available on boulder scotland

There is a quite a bit of dabbing in the video but it was just a repeat for the camera, I was in there moving the dmm spot about on the first ascent!  :P

Looks great. Good effort for going back each year and keeping the development going. Would really like to  take a trip over sometime.

Ardeer, if you email me at rumboulder@gmail.com I can provide any additional information needed. There is heaps of stuff at low grades and possibly the most comprehensively named bunch of Font 4/4+'s in the UK!!! If you enjoy a hike with a pad, this is the place!

Take it it was still tick free (the arachnids, not the chalkmarks) at this time of year?

Yeah this side of the island is relatively tick free as not many deer venture over that way. Haven't had a single tick there in the last 5 years!
