Anybody got one of those triple fold jobbies? Have seen them in decathalon before but no dice last trip, also had a quick cruise round barbizon as I think the site said you could pick them up there, but just found a load of arty shops.
Any knowledge on how to get my mits on one this trip??

Aye, you can get them from Trois Pigeons car park on a weekend. Great idea, and great pads, but they cost around £160! Nealry doubled in price since when they were first made

You're not wrong they've gone up a bit £160!!! that's a bit cheeky for a smallish pad. Guess I'll have to get a roofrack for the porsche then

Erm...remember seeing them a in a couple of colours, folded out to roughly the size of your standad metolius mat (which are cack in case you're wondering) This was a bit ago mind you, I think they worked out at £100 ish?
I can but check out the resoling bloke and see what's up, I expect as you say they are now purple and pricey!

i've got a triple pad.  best pad i've used.

why? well:
- the foam is great.  much denser and longer lasting than my old cordless.  never mind that old wet newspaper, the original S7.  i've had mine for 2 years now and seh's still trucking
- casing is super durable despite it having a lot of corners!
- i haven't bottomed out on the joins yet - the design seems to actually push the joins together when you land
- the size is good.  bigger than the pod/s7/moon pads
- the folded shape is ideal. that's a real 'personal preference' comment but i rate for the suitcase style transportability which also comes with a shoulder strap and pack straps.

downsides?
- the cost.  pretty steep really.
- the colours.  typically french!  i managed to source a black however.
- the fact that you can only get em in france!

if you can swallow the cost then i'd say run with it.  you wont be disappointed.
