freezing rain
February 10, 2012, 07:44:21 pm
did anyone else have the freezing rain last night?
i was told by boss not to work as a 44 tonne truck wont go anywhere on the ice.
i took the bambino to the nursery and could hardly stand up on the road.ive never seen anything like in all my 22 years ;)
the amount of whinging i heard from people was gob smacking.do they seriously think the council can grit every inch of the highways.said to 1 you'd moan if a gritter came down the side road and chipped all the paint off your car and the trebled your council tax to cover it,and add salt to your wounds haha
late on me and turnip took the dogs up the roaches, the steps were about e2 or whatever that converts into in that winter climbing.
took us 45 minutes to get to doxeys where the mia trained instructor showed the best way to jump on an iced over pool :bounce:

Who are you driving for now Mark? Sounds like you have a rare thing - a sensible transport manager...usually it's a case of "just see how far you get...."

I properly stacked it cycling through leeds, I'd say more like E5...

LOL, this is why I like UKB, not having the faintest about winter grades.

Freezing rain seems a stupid idea to me. Weather. Bleh.
