liverpool airport
September 05, 2011, 04:29:05 pm
Is anyone travelling through liverpool airport who would be prepared to help a friend out?

Some swiss friends of mine left several raincoats in the terminal building, which apparently will be held in lost property for the next three weeks at which point they'll be given to charity. Couriers refuse to pick the coats up, and liverpool lost property won't mail them out, so my mates are a bit stuck.

If anyone was going through here in the next few weeks and would be prepared to collect the coats, it'd be massively appreciated. I would of course organise the return of the coats from then on,  or refund postage to swizzy if said samaritan didn't mind posting them on....

Or if anyone has any bright ideas?

Assuming Tomtom is being alarmist I could pick them up on the way in to work.

Yup, only kidding, they're probably lined with bonds instead ;)

 Andy, Hairich; that's awesome. Lost property is open 7am - 9 pm so either of you could do the deed. I guess if Andy drives past on his way to work, its easiest for him to go.

I'll get more details from my friends so you've enough info to collect.

Thanks again Andy,

I got this reply from my swiss friend,

"that's wonderful news!!!! Thank you so much!

There are three raincoats, two adult ones and a baby one. The adult ones are both from the Helly Hanson brand, one is a blue one (man size) and the other one is a grey one (a woman size and they told me it was considered black). The baby coat is a 6 or 12 months size and it is blue. The brand is Il gufo.

The reference number the Lost and found office gave me was: 02361 and it is under the name: Maud Hagelberg."

Any time you can pick them up is grand.
