The Squealer (Lorry Park Quarry)
July 12, 2011, 12:39:34 pm
Where does this go exactly? Tried it last night and got to the double bolt belay at half way onsight (up crimpy wall to large jug then left to bolted belay. But, where next? There's a line of bolts up the crack above and a line to the right, although that looks hard, or holds fallen off?
I'm pretty sure the route breaks up and right past the large hold but not sure. Can anyone help out.
Awesome route by the way!

I haven't been but the ukc database sounds quite clear:

That link was for the Direct version - the normal 7c route has a description - probably written before the rest of the other variations of the Squealer were bolted - which  isn't clear.

Yes I was aware it was the direct version but thought the description might help clarify things. Obviously it didn't!

Also this is the wrong board for this thread.  :P

from the half height rest The Squealer goes straight up the small grove for a few moves(hard, for me the route crux) then breaks out right and up to the belay.  The steep crack out left from the rest is the upper part of Ground Zero (also a great route).
