Downhill Racer Direct Start

Can anyone shed any light on where you finish for the direct boulder problem start to Downhill Racer? From a quick play last weekend I'm hoping it's graded for finishing on the slight overlap directly above where you start. Is this right or do you have to traverse rightwards from this position to reach the good holds out right on the main route? For a wuss like myself it'd be helpful to know if I have to go to the further hold out right (i.e. above the change in levels and a boulder) so I can lug more pads to the crag!

Fairly sure it finishes on good holds on the route I'm afraid.  FWIW, always found this problem desperate.

I remember just going mainly up until you got to decent holds on the main route. Did this with Nai when it was cold enough for blood to freeze where it fell on my mat.. (car said -14) and to be honest it didn’t feel that tricky. Maybe just me - good connies etc..?

Much appreciated guys - definitely going to drop off at the first sign of a "good" hold!

I seem to remember the hold being good enough for me to consider (briefly) carrying on up to the top... it was but a fleeting thought :)
