Thinking of paying Llangdegla a visit on Saturday, any interest? Fatdoc, bubba, Norton et al? The new "trail centre speed machine tm" needs a play out. Weather forecast good

Llandegla at the weekend is a bit of a nightmare - it gets horribly crowded.

I'm still recovering from a week-long chest cold anyway so would be wheezing along like somebody who's on 50 a day :)

:boohoo:

Only ever seems to be crowded in the car park, and the cafe!

I always think this has too much fire road. Penmachno is much better in my opinion.

was at llandegla today. Was listlessly eating a butty at the furthest point of the trail, after my second puncture in 50yards, contemplating the push back when someone (about the 30th past) finally stops to offer me a tube. While we were chatting a guy stuffs it over the handlebars, doesnt get his clips out and ends up in a heap with legs twitching. Really shady. Thankfully, he came round, rinsed the blood from his face and was up to the push back to the car park. We were about to 999 and were very worried. Someone later saw him back at the carpark - fine but with a horribly gashed lip.
Now, point of all this us that as the guys legs were still pretty much on the trail we were waving riders down and there was a bit of a queue. Rhis guy comes steaming at us shouting 'get out of the way' and goes straight through. Now once the injured guy was up and pushing i saw this arrogant fvck coming back along one of the narrow switch back so nipped across the corner to explain. All i get was 'dont blick the fucking trail' shouted ovee his shoulder.
Wish id actually got in his way and stopped him.
Anyway, a tall, blonde, curly haired, scousish rider better be careful. Reckon he's got some karma coming.

incidentally, llandegla feels very bitty at the moment with all the works going on. Lots of new skills park bits that i didnt really explore. On the flipside, theyve done a lot of clearing and the view towards snowdonia was astonishing on a day like today.

thats quite downhilly.
