Bad weather calls for indoor type action stylee. Am going to be visiting the rope race new bouldering wall this afternoon, anyone been?
Saw it in construction and it looked pretty promising

I didn't even know that they were redeveloping, although, about bloody time! When Big Pete and the Whitaker left that wall it went to the dogs! My mate Graeme 'long neck' Snelson had a pop at running it, but hated the manager dude and went to be a chef!

Give us the low down, maybe I'll defect from Broughton!

I wouldn't bother, its not that great, good but not worth leaving the crimpy heaven of broughton for

Though id bump this topic up, cos the new woodie has been developed a bit and got some great new problems on it and there was a problems sheet with grades etc floating around when i was there.

Also the whole bouldering section is open now with the old resin wall being re-installed.

Probably not worth a special trip but its pretty good.
