I'm thinking Bowles Rock?

Have a big Moon Saturn mat, room for two more people and another 1-2 crash pads, leaving from SE/Central London, anyone up for it, I can get away from work around 1:30/1:45

Man up and tell her you're having some me time this weekend, thats what I did, although I had to trade in some of my dignity for this privilege....so i'm sitting through sex and the bloody city tonight so I can slink off to the  Real Rock™  tomorrow!

Did you really just post "Man up" and "i'm sitting through sex and the bloody city tonight" in the same sentence / paragraph?

It was totally meant to be ironic  ;D

Good fun yesterday, I really did not cope too well with the heat at first though.
Some pasta, some lower temperatures as the sun went down, and a short rest later though and it was all good; especially when I found some fun little dyno on an overhang towards the end of the evening, ran into a few regulars from The Arch too which was cool :)
Sandstone is very....very....very different from Grit though, it certainly shows up flaws in your technique or a lack of commitment to individual moves very easily.

I think it's what you're used to, I just got spanked on grit today as I've been far too restricted to sandstone recently!

A little warm for the grit isn't it?

Yes. It was a university club meet, I couldn't persuade them to go to Raven Tor (or Portland, once I saw the forecast!) because there were too many people who wanted to go and do VS cracks. At least there was a cool-ish breeze in between showers..... (goes off in a sulk).  >:(

Fine up on the moorland crags, especially the north facing ones.  Been to Kinder North and Ravenstones the last couple of weeks. I'd imagine Shining Clough and others on Bleaklow are in good nick at the moment too.

I miss Le Grit,

Fecking awesome bouldering that is, no chance until end of july now though, and even that is slim lol.
