The dovestones quarry where Bob Hope is, does anyone know if it seeps much due to the hill side above?
Looks an ace place in the guide.

Dunno but it's not that far to walk in to check and there's some decent crags nearby if it's damp, I hear Wimberry has a couple of good hard routes...

Standing Stones had a little seepage in places yesterday coming from the moorland that hangs over the top, but nothing too serious.  Rylstones across the valley looked very green.

Ok brill, i had no idea you could see it from the road and that it was a short walk in, my guide says 20minute walk in... Anyhow the weather seems a bit more stable now. Cheers.

If it does turn out to be wet (I doubt it), or when you’ve finished doing Bob Hope, a great fallback plan would be nearby Upperwood Quarry which is <5mins from the road and has the classic E4 Renaissance plus other good looking stuff.

Take some binoculars, pull in at that carpark opposite with the daft name (can't remember - alderman hey?) and check it out. Direct comparison.

dovestones lower quarry does seep quite abit

as said before, check it out from binn green car park if you can

the pits and calamity crack are another option if you are after an E4 in the area
