Do Ring Ousals not nest at the Roaches any more?  Just that they said Stannidge [sic] was the most southerly nesting site.

No, not since a good ten years ago. Around the time the RSPB managed to get a 'precautionary' climbing ban on Hen Cloud which they hoped would be the answer - it wasn't.  Given the choice, Ring Ouzels will next where they were born, so unless the population ig undergoing a general increase they are highly unlikely to seek out new sites, or return to old sites.
