Betaclimbingdesign's E9 gear

The Fatboy was sporting some of the E9 Tecno jeans t'other day - very nice, might get myself a pair - some quite nice kit on there - as usual, a bit steeper than just getting some scraggy pants from Meadowhell, but seems like well put together kit.

Anyone got any other recomendations for pants? I've got an old pair of green S7's that need a bit of stitching but apart from that need a new pair for the winter.

Fatsloperactions pants seem pretty good. Got a pair but haven't worn them that much yet. Good build and not too pricey.

i seem to have done well at getting trou from outside marquee sales. got a pair of old blue S7 vurts in summer2002, still going strong £20, a pair of black mushin summer 2003 £10 and some lost arrow things £10 which i've saved and only wore out for the first time this weekend. also got some metolius dynamic for like £30 from needlesports which are my lucky deliverance trou.

my advice is maybe go to somewhere like H&M in medderall and get some phat cords or summert like that for fuck-all cos their stuff tends to be cheap-ish and well made, yet won't be covered in the latest uber-fashion shite like in topshop etc.

or of course there fubu, rocca etc.

those fsa pants look good, but from what i could tell they don't have pockets right?

i've decided after my year of climbing in snap pants that i like pockets, that and not having to mantel out of trousers to take a piss.

Gareth at FSA gave them me, to help promote them a little, but they dont fit quite right. It wouldnt be right to charge for them, so hence the offer to Bubba, and now you. Ill let you know size.

I got me some of them FSA pants a while ago. Fair to say the lack of pockets is the reason I don't really wear them outdoors much and I know they seem to fit a bit funny but that helps movement inside them.
They really come into there own when climbing indoors I think.
When I'm out on the crag - a pair of jeans or my dad's old phat brown cords are generally in. Might have to get some thermal leggings as its getting a bit chilly these days

i got some snap troues and hoody.both well shit.

got the hoody mail order. same quality as a shite market job. and the same prob as dave about mantling out your trousers.

my mates snap print washed off his t-shirt. ultra crap. have got to be the worst boulder togs going!

dont rate the build of the moon/s7 stuff either.

cant beat prana on build, just need to sort out the cut of the trouse. the a5 stuff  dont look bad.

at the mo got a pukka pair of stussy troues out of tk max £15 and quick silver phat cords £20 :8)
