WTD, a real small strip of grip tape

about 5mm by 50mm.

I'm experimenting with my new canfield crampon flat pedals...

$150 for some pedals that need modifying?!
Go see Stef in Slide - he'll sort you out. (This is the second grip tape enquiry I have fielded in the last hour and a half.....wierd. How's about some comission, Gallagher?!?!)

cool. I need so little mind... You use this shit on yr volumes? Go on.. Pass me a slip.

Modifying.. Maybe. I'm a bit impossible to satisfy in terms of flats.

Speaking from experience, I find Easton Flatboys combined with 5.10s gives unparalleled amounts of foot to bike adhesion. I reckon they're better than spd's for feeling 'connected' to the bike. Obviously you don't get the pulling upwards ability for uphill grinds, but when descending you can twist your foot on the pedal for superior control - the same foot movement with spds would leave you unclipped.

ahem..

i agree.

just thought I'd try the crampons. my eastons got play in the bearings 2nd ride out.. they still do 3 years later.. I have DHed / Xced and pissed about (aka freeriding ) with them. even I havnt bust them.
