Mark "Face" McGowan

Just noticed over on 8a.nu that a Mark McGowan 1968 Glasgow has registered a load of ascents. This sounds a lot like like 80s super wad Mark "Face" McGowan. Does anyone up that way know if Mark has started climbing again or is it some sort of hoax?

It is. Contact has been made. It seems a comeback is under way. His name probably won't mean much to a lot of people on here but Mark was a brilliant trad climber of the 80s. One of the greats of that era in many way.
