After suffering a sore elbow for several days now, I have accepted I need to rest. I have several days to kill before returning home. Can anyone recommend things to do in the area other than climbing?

Cheers

Ian

If you like foraging there'll be loads of Chanterelles and Billberries out at the moment. Best spot for gathering is over then upstream from the bridge crossing the river a few hundred yards down from the camp.

If you like modernist architecture then you're sorted.

If you like foraging there'll be loads of that fucking good king henry shit that we made cofe eat loads of as some kind of fucked up joke. he's such a tool. he munched it down. i reckon we could have made him eat stones or dog shit if we tried. what a lemon

if you haven't done already, pack some water and go and recce every problem/block in the wood for when you're there next time. good bit of exercise.

Motel was disastrous. Truly awful. How they have the audacity to suggest it in the guide is beyond me. Imagine climbing on low grade coal and you're not even close.

Awesome, it's an insanely long way down. Try and get there early and spend some time watching others do the jump, it was a proper party atmosphere there when we were there. Tip: watch a  couple from the side to get an idea of the full height, watching straight down doesn't do it justice.
