When you setting off? If soon, bring midge repellant.

Not really an extensive venue, but I went to an interesting crag a couple of years ago near Inverness. The rock was a conglomerate so you were climbing rounded pebbles. Might be worth a try if you fancy something a bit different. Think it was called the Camel. Also good if its pissing down in Torridon you might be able to escape the weather further east.

was going to suggest the same thing.

Some sport around Gairloch / Gruinard Bay area, can't vouch for quality. Gary Latter Guide has details too, as does SMC guide.

Good fishing in that area too.

The camel is shut utill later in the year tomorrow due to a bird ban.

I've heard goat crag is ok too, not sure exactly where it is though.

The camel: http://www.scottishclimbs.com/wiki/The_Camel
This has just had a couple new routes added; worth checking out as said above. If you really like it, also check out http://www.scottishclimbs.com/wiki/Moy_Rock

In the Gairloch area I reckon your best bet is creag nan luch http://www.scottishclimbs.com/wiki/Creag_nan_Luch, near poolewe, Get the wildwesttopo from tiso in inverness or somewhere. The lower teir has a good range of stuff, the upper teir right hand section is all about 7a i think (these are marked as projects on the topo if i remember right?), left hand section is steeper with euro-style swings to clean routes, I think some lines here are still projects though.

Goat crag is good is if its not too warm and has a chance of catching a breeze. http://www.scottishclimbs.com/wiki/Goat_Crag If it is too warm, head to the beach or river for a swim!

A good wet weather option is http://www.scottishclimbs.com/wiki/Am_Fasgadh] http://www.scottishclimbs.com/wiki/Am_Fasgadh. you could check this place out as well as goat crag seeing as its vaguely the same crag, but totally different. You would want it to be cool and breezy for a good session here this time of year.
