Anyone know how these compare size wise with the toe-plate version..? Is the sizing the same? I take a 6.5 and 7 in the toe plated version but take a 6 in all my other five-tens.. velcros, anasazi slipper etc.. a mate has found me a pair in the states that should fit.. but I just wondered if I could get a bit of background advice before risking parting with the cash.. ta.

I wear a street 10.5.  My old style V10s were a size 10 and they were obscenely tight and painful.  For my pair of toe-plated V10s I got a 10.5 and that seemed to fit better.  Still tight, but much less painful.  If I could ever find a pair of the old V10s (in my dreams) I would get a 10.5.  I wear 9.5 or smaller in the anasazi velcros, mocs, etc.  Hope that helps...
