For my travels I thought I better ditch Photobucket and get back to basics with Flickr. However, I can't seem to register for an account!

Each time I try to sign in with my yahoo ID I get a "Redirect loop". If I delete my cookies I can get back onto FlickR but when I repeat the process it breaks all over again.

Google shows others have had the same problem but there are no solutions... clue anyone?

slack--line back from Malham yet?  ;D

Have you tried signing up using a different browser?

Doing a quick google suggests it may be malware so do the usual scans.

Hmmm I've tried the same on my folks desktop and that doesn't work either. Same error.

Still. Running an adware search isn't a bad thing.

Get somebody else (who isn't cursed with the luck of the damned) to sign up on your behalf; then try using that login.

still useless as I won't be able to log in to that. If I disable cookies it tells me my reg has been successful but that it can't log me in as cookies aren't enabled!

Hmm, not sure.

If you've already got a Yahoo account you could try logging into that first, and then see if there is a way to set up a flickr account from there perhaps?

this is what I did with a bit of cookie disabling/enabling thrown in which seemed to work.
Cheers.
