A bouldering video from the Northen Ireland lads.
Looks good. Most of it is from the Mournes.

Hmmm, a bit heavy on the fisheye lens and I couldn't actually tell what was going on - I know it's a trailer, but they didn't show anything for more than about one zillionth of a second - maybe I'm just getting too old......

Good bit when the music stopped and he fell off the trackside boulder in glendo in time with the Hives scream though

My main complaint is that they didn't use a tripod. A tripod seems to make a vast difference to the quality of the final film.

Also, there were a few camerman's feet in the frame, but hey, this is their first efforts so it's not going to be a perfect film.

I think the fast cutting was fine for a trailer, and assume it'd be more in depth for the full length film.  I think it's hard to get the balance right between snappy editing and annoyingly fast cuts.

Andy you are an old man. Its for the mtv generation, westside hand things, wacky facial expressions, people freaking for no reason, these are all vital parts of the package, man.

Would have to disagree about the lens - ok once in a while, but becomes tres cliched if used more than once or twice.

Also, I agree with Bubba - use a tripod - if yorkshiregrit reads this I know he'll go off on a rant about people not using tripods for bouldering vids......

Oh, and I always have my trousers pulled up to nipple level

mtv - is that on the BBC World Service??
