the bulge/prow to the right still uses the groove to my knowledge (i remember asking M.adams about this and he'd done it but i don't 100% remember the numbers). both this and "the groove" were always credited as Ron problems, but since they both use the groove feature it possible that ron just did the bulge/groove combo and this got reported as 2 seperate problems by different people. i've certainly never seen anyone on the groove proper, or heard of anyone doing it. would be interesting the know what various guide writers discovered about these problems when writing the guides.
theres also the issue of how you define "true" dyno. by all means exclude the stoney stuff for being eliminate, but even if the groove on buckstone was climbed static it would be at least 8a probably if not a fuck laod harder than the dyno whatever the grade. Thus the dyno would be by far the easiest way up the wall by a long shot, and thus still a true dyno. most dynos would be possible to climb the same line static at a much higher grade if theres a climber that can pull on pico-hoists. undercuts dyno at roaches coudl be done static by anyone who can pull sufficiently hard on very small crystals, doesn't make it an invalid dyno.
