Moon Pluto pads
January 21, 2008, 06:44:45 am
I'm going to be visiting a lab in England from late March to late June and plan to spend a week in Font with the BoulderBus and a least a weekend somewhere else.  I'd like to have a pad, and while I can hire one from the BoulderBus kids, I'm wondering whether it might not be better to just get a Pluto pad from Moon climbing.  So, 2 questions: are they any good?  If so, is it small enough for me to squish it into my Dropzone?  Any help would be much appreciated.

Yes they are decent little pads, same foam configuration as the Warrior (just thinner) which is very good - been hammering one for the last few months. The only downside is that you can't configure the strapping in a rucksack style set-up, just over the shoulder. The other option is a Snap Calzone similar size (bit bigger) but has rucksack style strapping. Downsides: It is a fair bit heavier and £10 more expensive.

Yes, it's a perfect fit.
