getting going again
September 13, 2007, 10:53:21 pm
hi all. i've had a few years break from the walls and now its time to get going again. basically, wheres good on the wirral, who goes there and when are you going next?
i used to climb the breck, irby quarry and new brighton red noses and the fort perch rock walls and bridge but that was the days when my second wasnt a fatty. now he is and he struggles to get to work, let alone get up a wall.
any ideas, let me know. cheers, Mike

Mike, do what all wise Wirral men do and up sticks and leave. Add Frodsham, Pex, (readd) The Breck and maybe West Derby cuttings.

 :goodidea:
thats the paln for a few years ahead( alberta, canada!!!!! :dance1:) but at the minute its an unreal possibility. i work on the oil rigs and have an ever growing family( wife, 3 kids) so time and money are precious, as for us all.
for training i am building a woody in a garage so the missus and two eldest likds can get learning and get some stamina, but as for taking them to the local dives, its early days.
however, are the ones i mentioned THE only ones?

I'm amazed! After wanting a woody in Wirral for about 10 years and with noone showing any interest in building one, they're suddenly springing up everywhere! You'll all be monsters soon!

Four of which are in your bedroom.
