I've got a pair of t-rocks, take a bit of breaking in but am now pretty impressed by them.  Snow and rock have got them in most sizes at £42 - I've just had another pair delivered today.

Im' after a similar pair of shoes but i need a pair that are quite narrow, i am in anasazi velcro's at the minute and on small edges they start to twist around my foot. Are the t-rocks narower than the anasazi's?

Don't think T-Rocks are available any more. Montrail Smythers is an excellent edging shoe and reasonably narrow.

I've never had a problem standing on small edges in My Miuras. They have a nice narrow fit too.

another one for Muiras as a nice, stiff edging shoe.  Although they strike me as better for people who need a wide toe box: I can't fit my flipper-feet in most shoes but have always suited Sportivas.

Not worn them myself but by reputation / reviews Red Chile Corona lace-ups are meant to be very stiff and precise.

Are we talking about Castle Market here, or them stalls down the Moor?

I wouldn't get them from there. They're probably snide like the Burberry hats.

My vote goes to the new Scarpa Spectros - I bought 'em, I like 'em. Tried the slippers and they just didn't fit me feet but the Spectros felt good from the off.

What about trying to get hold of a pair of old pink Five Tens?  I've heard they're quite good.

Also they're rumoured to 'dance on dime edges'

I've used the Pinks for years and I don't relish the change.  Good thing is I can get them for about 50 quid a pair nowadays.  But for how long....?

Feel the same.  The greens/onyx must be rubbish on slate: too soft.  I'm going to start stockpiling the pinks while the prices are low.

i would imagine virtually all boots these days would be too soft (both rubber and design) for slate, what with todays steep bouldering enphasis. you'd probably be just as well sporting a pair of boreal ballet golds. Would really turn heads.

Did you never try T-rocks?

What size is everyone wanting a pair?  I've got a pair that I've hardly used (size 6.5/7 UK but really tight for me at 7.5) but I might go and put them in the washing machine to try and stretch them

T-Rocks rule for stiffness... I have a pair that I save for anything edgy.

I too suffer with short wide feet and right now I'm loving my Katanas ;D

watch out for the anasazi version 2, this is not the verde its the new heel but its stiffer, they are still doing the verde as well, hope they bring the version 2 into the country.

So it's an updated version of the Pink?  I may look out for that, otherwise I will continue to collect size 9 pinks wherever I find them.  I don't really like the look of those 5.10 Merdes.  Maybe I should try something new, though.  Dragons etc?
