Campsites near Armscliffe

Planning a trip up to armscliffe this wk end. Had a look on the net and most of them seem to be geared towards the caravan mobs. Any one want to share some local knowledge. ta

They are, but the one opposite Caley is probably your best bet. Basic but convenient. Not sure if is open this time of year though.

For breakfast, Riverside Caff in Otley is the way forward.

Spot on the money Chris. Many an all-night drinks binge used to lead to the Caff for breakfast.

Otley has a fair amount of B&B's. Maybe worth giving them a shout to avoid a miserable night in a muddy field next to a main road? If you get totally stuck and need a floor to crash on, I can give you Jimbo and Dobby's numbers. They owe me a favour.

Thanks for the offer mate, there's 7 or 8 of us + kids so need plenty of space. Found one near ilkley. Here's hoping weather holds out.
