Climb magazine website reviews
November 24, 2006, 01:12:37 pm
Usually flick through a copy in the shop and even buy it now and again. Somewhere near the back they always have a little thing with someone (Colin Wells?) reviewing three or four climbing websites. I have seen it cover some pretty obscure stuff but never UKB. Did I miss the issue with this in, in which case can anyone paraphrase what it had to say? Or have they never done said review and why?

I've been waiting for UKB to feature, probably with some comments regarding the 'youth speak' as usual, but have not seen it as yet.  Am also waiting for b.com to get a review.....

Can we class that as Youff speak? Snoop Dog is in his mid thirties now!

Nothing wrong with Mid 30s. But it shows how much I know.

Has anyone seen Climber?  10 points for every photo you can spot of an 8b climber hanging off a jug looking photogenic.

also featured is yet another of Dave Pickford's well written `What I did on my holidays' articles, a John Horscroft `What I did at the weekend article'
Macleod's refinement of his headpointing is OK if the route is dead har argument, in the guise of predictions about the future of trad.  There was another no doubt incredibly useful and interesting, indeed laugh out loud gather-the-family-round-the-fire-for-this-one entertaining gear review article that for some reason I didn't read.  I haven't read Pantontino's bouldering bit yet either, but the photos looked good.
