I'd like to know too. Myself, "Cofe", "Dave", "Bogg" and "Fi" (a pretty strong team I'm sure you'll agree) got fully bummed by this problem, and we usually eat 7b for brunch. Crookes strong lad "Cofe" was particularly rubbish on it.

campus!!!

or alternatively if ya weak like me

campus first 2 moves, hell hook RF, up LH crimp, change heel to toe, ROCK OVER and static good hold RH

the left hand variation tam tam sam or somat is better 7b-7b+ can be done with a big dyno or a hand-heel match on LH sidepull and brilliant rock over to big pebble, top draw

I think it favours the little fella. Hock was quite bunched up when I saw him do it.

Cheers Ferret, thought it might be that... the LH one (Sam Tan maybe?- welsh for fireman Sam), did look very good and easier than simple simon(we were getting proper duffed but using a bad sequence, pulling up to the slopey crimp rail then flicking through to the high RH crimp missing out the LH crimp for some reason.Dave was trying rocking onto his LH in the jug and was very close this way).
Great looking problems at a great bouldering venue. We were all very impressed with the place.

It is an awesome venue, still only been once but liked it very much!
I did simple simon pretty much campusing it all, i did try sneaky heals at first but decided against them! Wicked problem!

What does this left hand version do then? Start at same point? Have there been any more developments at churnet cause it was lacking in the higher grade problems?

tam tam sam starts same jug as simple simon, up LH to large but slopey ramp feature, RH to angled crimp used on SS then either unleash a BIG move for the break (mikes original way) or udge up LH a bit match left heel and rock up for that glorious pebble then the break. note there is a key RF hold used wen rocking up little edge thing i remember.

Warchild - 8a is stunning really needs repeat (if it hasnt had one) come on u strong boys, senn mike do this (all too easily for my liking :)) bit of visionary climbing from the adams, love to do it myself but seems to suit the tall guy :(

Left heel in sloppy pod socket level with the rail and a semi campus motion. This is said to be no harder from a low start, funny, I can do it every time standing, almost did it after the traverse, just about did it once from direct sitter, did not quite hang the finnal swing. one great problem...
