Bordo de Nizza nibile.....

Here's my latest edition to the FD quiver - I've been surfing for nearly 20 years and avoided longboards like the plague, but as I mellow with approaching middle age and with an increased desire to get in water regardless of conditions I took the plunge a couple of months back.

South Coast - Dane Peterson Model. 9'4 x 23 " x 18 1/2" (nose) x 15 1/2" (tail) x 3" (thick).  16 oz volan glass on top with 10 oz underneath.

Weighing in at nearly 35 lb's it's a different kettle of fish to what I'm used to, but after three sessions; two on my lonesome at the Mouth and a choppy Porth Oer, I've been up and knee paddling and hung five on the nose a few times I'm now a convert to the logging industry although I'm not going to quit riding shorter boards - it just expands the repertoire.

its the drops of fiberglass from the glassing of the board.
the different colours depend on the fact that you can paint the blank and then glass it with transparent glass, or also add paint to the glass, as in these cases.
