It's mains gas webbo, 25% price rises here we come. Can the village not club together and collectively buy a gas main? They are hideously expensive though, I hassled and argued and managed to get about 60% off my original quote, but it was still far and away the most expensive service to have installed.
The gas companies are fucking useless, it's taken me over two years to get them to sort out all the paperwork. I have to fork out a huge wedge of money, and then the blokes turn up to do the job and the first thing they say is:
"This job is not the job thats described on our jobsheet".
So we compared my quote information to their jobsheet and lo-and-behold - totally different. They then went on to expain that this happens all the time and they'll just do what I want as there's no point going back to the management as it will just delay everything again and then they'll still get it wrong.
