Hugencroft Topo

Yo,

I went to hugencroft/hawkstones for the first time recently and i wondered if there was a topo for any of the bouldering /  routes there.

Despite the sandyness of the rock, and the rather frosty reception/ surveillance of the landowner! :? ,  i was quite impressed.

I enjoyed running about exploring the crag but its just nice to know what problems are called/graded etc.  Also, there seemed to be loads of hard route potential and im interested to see which lines had been done.

Yorkshiregrit.com has a few pictures of a couple of the problems, but thats all i can find.  anyone know any more?

cheers

If it's not on yg.com, then it's probably not worth knowing.

if you put in Hugencroft it just shows three routes.

I went to Huegencroft a couple of times after the ban finished and really enjoyed not knowing what anything was. The exploration was great fun, not knowing (or caring) if stuff had been done before, what the grade was or what it was called made it all the more enjoyable. The rock was yery gritty on the surface, lots of tiny pebbles coving the rock so in places it felt like you were smearing on ball bearings. apart from that it was a nice little venue, with some quality highball stuff to be done.
