Is this mat any good?  I have been offered a second mat for 80 pounds

bear in mind these are massive, so probably alright if you own a van/estate, or don't want to use the backseat of your car.

also not worth buying if the foams lost it's bounce, since this is the dearest part. with one of these pads you'll find you have more friends but you can't take them anywhere

ive seen not many people around using that one.
personally i wouldnt buy it, mostly second hand.

the ones ive "tested" had soft foam and were thin: i think its just cos you couldnt fold it otherwise, with a thick, hard foam.
so i think theyre basically good to sleep on.

for 60 pounds you can buy a brand new phud by alpkit. big and beefy.

I have 2, they are the bomb, but the foam is shit. Luckly I have got more foam in them than std. £80 is over the odds anall

would have to agree foam is dog turd but buckels and fabric IS the bomb :wink:

Looky here, you don't need to know anything about any mats but the mighty POD mats. The fabric and stitching are utterly bombproof, the foam is high quality and durable, you are supporting local industry and they have just started doing taco style large pads. You ARE a fool is you don't buy one.

but the snap pads are good as well
