St. Kevin, a monk, was the founder of the monastrey in Glendalough.
After some banter about St.Kevin in the pub (I have a theory about St.Kev and magic mushrooms) one of the lads got it together to make a monk costume out of an old dyed sheet and naturally we though it would be good to get some photos. Believe me we got some funny looks from the ramblers as they passed.

We also made a mock period climbing drama

The monk photo was even in my bouldering news column in IML (Irish Mountain Log) and to my surprise I had no one else wondering WTF?
