After all the lead-up to the past weekend I haven't heard a word how everyone's trips went.

Feel free to brag shamelessly and impress the Yank--

I just got back, It was an amasing week, perfect weather, It even rained on our rest day, and the rest of the time, bright blue sky, The rock was perfect, a little damp in some areas, but couldnt ask for more, Did everything I wanted and more, But should have taken an extra rest day

I've never taken enough rest days there, but what the hell, it's 4000 miles away and you just have to go for it!

Its a little (well big place) east of madrid. Klem lostock, Fred Nicole and Sharma have all been there developing it along with many others. Its a bit of a hidden secret at the mo. And topos are very secret. There are still issues with land owners and shit, but they said we could climb, as long as we didnt put topos online for the time being. But most of the climbing is in the national park. If you are interested in going I can supply you topos.

There is so much untouched rock there you wouldnt believe it.

whatup playaz.

font was good, seemed unseasonably warm, even the rain days dried up like shit off a shovel.

our 8-man hitsquad did the business on a few classics between us, like marie rose, nescafe, jet set, dogs arse roof, smatch, duroxmanie/direct, angle allain, lamentations, clin d'oeil, egoist/assis, fleur de rhum, hyperplomb, medaille, chasseur de prises, 36.15 gauche, vin rouge, abatoir, araignee, cortomaltese, langouste royale, faux contact, marginal droite, carnazina, superprestat, aerodynamite, ange naif etc.

Had a hyper-bon week. Weather was a touch warm but always dry. Only managed to catch up with t'other playas on one day sadly. In this years bag was: L'aerodynamic, Biceps mou, Carnage, Duroxmanie direct, Noir Desir gauche, Salathe Wall, Egoiste assis, Sitting Bull, Crazy Horse low start, Hercule d travail, Uranus, Il Pousiff, Nuts, 35.15 LH and a bunch of stuff with french names I can't remember. Can't wait for the next trip in March.

What a week?  How many British boulderers can you get in one place?

Personally a week of highs and lows, and more evidence that if you climb indoors 99% of the time climbing outdoors is f*cking difficult.

High point - doing a 7b+ in a few of goes.
Low point - not doing a 6c+ at all, then watching a girl breeze it, and it wasn't even a slab.

Future training plans = climb outdoors more, actually try and use my lower body.

My only excuse for any failures, the bird was in the process of dumping me, emotional stress and all that (straw clutching).  Every cloud has a silver lining though, at least I can go on some decent weekend trips now.
