I have a couple of girls signed up to my school font trip this year and so need a female adult to act as a kind of chaperone. There are female staff at school, but no boulderer, so thought I would see if I could find someone who would enjoy an all expenses free trip to Bleau and would just need to be there.
We leave Manchester on 31st March, climb for 4 days, probably based at Boulancourt campsite, which is a nice quiet spot near Buthier I.e. 5 mins from Maisonbleau etc.
The students all have some experience of outdoor bouldering and there will be two qualified instructors (me and the head of outdoor pursuits).
It would be great if there was a youngish adult psyched female boulderer who could be a bit of a role model for the girls. The elder 13 at the time sister climbed a few 6Bs (she climbs v7 indoor) last year in Font and her younger sister was ace at slabs.
Any adult would need a CRB check, but we could sort that out at school.
Any takers? Could you mention it to your female mates. My local wall currently has a grand total of one female member. Hence the need to cast the net wider.
