In case anyone hasn't clocked this from elsewhere, Ned Feehally has climbed the impressive Pit Problem LGP in the woods 50m or so left of Sauvitto. This has been tried in the past by various folk and last year Ned did the highball upper section at 7b+ with a pull on at the flake from a boulder/ledge on the right. The new bit is a proper start from the pit and adds some big hard moves. The whole thing is a quality piece of climbing and must be one of the best 8s on grit.
Description on PB.info "The obvious low start to Pit Fighter. From a standing start on an edge and an undercut in the break, climb into the flake via long moves and finish up Pit Fighter. Grade depends totally on reach/height. Shorties will really struggle, but probably easier for over 6 footers"
