Rocklands in july
October 08, 2015, 09:52:37 am
Hi peeps. Apologies for definitely going over old ground and being to lazy to trawl through old threads.
Im thinking of going to rocklands in early July 16 for a month. I want to catch good cons so can any of you experienced folk tell me if that's a god time to go? Is it worth going a bit later?
Cheers
Tom

I've been once, first 3 weeks of August (2010). Folk trying harder stuff were whinging it had been (and was still) too hot. Not sure if earlier in July is better normally? It can rain. Best advice I had was to expect to take some rest days and head to Cape Town when the weather's crap. There's v little to do around Rocklands except climb.

May to August is pretty much prime season, but there's always the risk of both rain and warmth. It is a desert after all  :)
