Couple qwick questions to those who've been...

Will early may be too warm? Is camping the best option and do you need to hire a car?

Cheers all

Early May is definitely no good camping is the last option I would go for and who the bloody hell in their right mind would hire you a car!

Stay at home get a job and do some bloody work like the rest of!

Hope that helps and no I'm not jealous at all!

Cheers You!

Early May is ok. Bit hot on the main wall at Misja Pec but fine when overcast, however the left side of Misja Pec will be shady after lunch and there are some decent, if short routes there. Good tufa on the left too. Osp will be a better option when sunny because a lot of it goes into the shade mid afternoon.

I love the campsite. Really chilled, with shade, a bar and free wifi. Plus its only a short walk to both crags. Van/rough sleeping is most definitely banned after issues in the past and I would say you can get away with no car but you will need to go into Koper or somewhere similar for food shopping. In the winter that should be easy as the campsite will be busy with other climbers but in May it will be quiet outside of weekends.
