These are a great pair of approach shoes, usual La sportiva very high build quality. They are closer to rock shoes than trainers, with a mythos style lacing system so you can adjust the fit considerably. They are similar to the Ganda in the current range. I climbed The Salathe in them and they were ideal for this.
The catch? After I got down from The Salathe they were a little wiffy so I put them in a bucket of dilute bleach... and fell asleep for 12 hours. They are now a (more tasteful?) light grey rather than the original turquoise-yellow colour scheme.
