I've just got myself an iPad air and fear I will break it very soon if I don't get a decent case for it. A quick search reveals about a billion different ones available, so I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations? I obviously want it protected whilst in my bag, and like the look of the ones that fold up for film viewing etc etc. Other than that I'm open to suggestions.

I like the belt and braces approach. A Belkin folding case that includes a rear section unlike the Apple 'cover' and cheaper than the Apple 'case', then a neoprene case as well for travelling.

Targus. The rotating case is the thickest I've found and the most stable stand. Between us Polly and I have gone through 14/15 different styles and have both settled on these. Found them in Staples.

I got a "Griffin Survivor" for mine and it protected it perfectly on a three week camping trip to the states. Might be a bit much for day to day though- I just use a neoprene zipped thing for that.
