The stars have aligned and we're off on our first holiday en famille for a midweek break in Wirksworth next week.


Looking like this decent weather will hold so thinking I may be able to persuade my other half that "going for a picnic" somewhere might be palatable, failing that I might be able to get a pass for an early morning / late afternoon session somewhere.


Due to small car / 5-week-old baby I won't have room for a pad, so if anyone's available and doesn't mind me tagging along hit me on the DM.

I'm intending to get out (possibly with Jim) on Wednesday. However, I've got my sights set a bit closer to Sheffield (Burbage then Stanage), I'm guessing this isn't much use?

Depending on what shifts I get at work next week I could possibly do Wednesday afternoon. I finish uni at 1 and could head out with pads. Are there any days in particular that you were thinking about?

Paul - yeah, you're right...I'm going to have to stay local / close to Wirksworth if I'm going to get out at all. Plus I've got a lot of unfinished business there from when it was my local area from living in Derby so keen to try some stuff I've got accounts open on!


Billy / James - still subject to negotiations (suggestion wasn't very well received last night when I floated it!) so very much wait and see. Keen to get on Dry Wit in particular so any paddage / spottage would be very welcome.
