So did you enjoy the cornice last night boys? (Dave, Cofe) Good to see you putting some of that bouldering strength into routes. Pity the conditions were not that favourable. will you be going back.. :?:

to be honest i didn't really enjoy it that much. the moves on brach dance are ok but nowt that special IMHO and its inconveniently steep to work easily. would have been better if it had been equipped wi a proper lower-off anda  deffinite finish to aim for when it was bolted, instead of only half doing the job.

having said that i dare say i'll be back there at some point, but i'm not that awestruck to be honest.

the routes are a bit awkward to work because the crag is so steep but it comes togther really fast and it becomes less of a pain in the arse when you can link big sections.  It seems better to work them on lead rather than top rope as the top rope constanly pulls you away from the route. You'll be back once you get the bug, its a great crag.

aye, quim and cofe seemed to like it, but thats probably cos they're a pair of little bitches. i'd go back provided cofe cleans the route again and i can belay from a deckchair.

lets face it lovejoy, its not a kneebar that makes it feel 7b, its being an 8b climber that makes it feel 7b!

you're absolutely right! it's a shame italy are  out, we won't get to see Francesco Totti on his knees in the opposition penalty area hands raised in prayer. classic.

you've got to watch en ger land though, that car stereo thieving numbskull yoot from scouse's neck o't woods is on fire at the mo. yo.

Banks in goal
Moore
Lineker
Hurst
Geoff Astle
Shilton
Nobby Styles (now theres a name you wanna have)
Gazza
Barnes

I think football might have been alright back in the "threpny bits on the terraces, handlebar moustaches, jumpers for goalposts" era, when training was a couple of laps of the ground followed by a woodbine and a pint of mild and a fish supper in newspaper.

These days its all fairys, woofters, ponces, billion ££ transfers, TV rights, burberry, Stella, and combat18 - I'll give it a miss if you don't mind.
