Now we all know that actualy there are only two grades, V2 & V6 :roll: , but in OTE the problem beta of the month is Bens groove. Originaly graded by Ben Moon at V8, and is said by others to be V8.

But in the article (featuring Ben) it's given V5.

Is this ben retro grading it down to V5 or a mistake :?:

Yeah I was wondering about that? The other thing is that in the same article it gets Fnt7a+ which is right in my opinion (V7).

i wouldn't pay too much attentio to the grades given in those OTE articles. I remember reading the demon wall roof one where on the same page it said "beta for demon wall roof font 7b" and the further down said "next week - beta for Tierdrop font 7a".  :eek2:  :?  :?:

Yeah I was wondering that.  As doesn't it get the same Font grade
given to Angel Deelite an issue or two back, but a different
V grade.  Might just be a typo then.

Too hot? - Nah, I've been climbing better than ever this week on
the old grit at widdop and bridestones.  In fact I nearly did
Mouthful of crystals yesterday, felt a lot more do-able now than it
did back when it was cold.  Grit Bouldering in the hot sun, great!  :twisted:

Just replied to ur post on RT actually dude! Think the grade given was V5 F7a and the content which ben wrote also refers to bens groove as being V5. And yeah angel deelite got a weird grade last month didnt it What r OTE playing at!

V6 soundsbout right. but not 7a+, and certianly not F7a+ as it not got bolts in it
