Young Wirralolian (and Cave devotee) Mike Hart has climbed a probable new start to Rockatrocity...

Doylo's Blog mention and video of an attempt you will be able to see....

Should see a few repeats over the weekend I reckon!

Nodder informs me that Mark Evans started down here but we don't know if he did it with Mike's logical start. Is definitely worthwhile starting on the back

Repeated this today, think 8a is fair. Especially as people take 7c+ from the wobbly block.  It's definitely the way forward if you want to do Cave Life/Ra at 8a.  It's much better and more logical than Pit of Hell/Cave Life which are already kinda redundant thanks to In Hell/In Life. Cave Life need's doing from here but more significantly it would bump Highlife back to 8a (if it is 7c+ that is).  I started both hands matching the undercut which is even better. Panton reckons Jerry might have started here too. We'll never know but it gives 3 logical starting places down there rather than 2 and 1 arbitary one.  Nice one for resurrecting it Mike.

Seeing as it looks to be mere inches above the dirt.. May I suggest low life/get a life/dole life for the link into cave life?

Good effort Mike. Not bad for a mountain biker.

I suggest that someone buys Mike a guidebook for some different crags.  Crags other than the Cave and Magic Wood do exist you know Mike!

Oh and excellent effort young man.   ;)

I am pretty sure Jerry started down here back in the late 80s, but I've asked him about stuff like this before and he couldn't remember exactly.

Anyway, good effort Mike, it sounds like it is definitely worth recording - I'll get it in the script for the new NWB guide and the rest of you can race Doylo to do all the new links.

Never before in the history of man has so much been done by so many with so little.

Good luck with the topo in the next guide Si. Time for 3D modelling?

especially if you factor in your rough trade years.
