If you are on facebook, there's a North East Outcrops group (which is worth joining anyway) you could try asking on there?
I know a few of the new grads at our place were struggling recently too, I'll ask if they have any tips. If you send me a flyer or something I can put it on the noticeboard at the climbing wall.
