Hi I will be down in the area this weekend and can stay on to climb the week after if the weather is good and there are people to climb with.
I will be staying near Newquay and available for climbing Sat/Sun until early evening, and then all day Mon/Tue/etc as long as I have a partner!
I am pretty familiar with the entire area already, so would like to explore some more interesting and diverse cliffs, in particular: Kellan Head, Tintagel North Cliff, Cow & Calf, Brownspear Point, St Gurnard's Head, St Loy, Longship's Wall, The Lizard, Pentire, Carn Gowla. I guess it would be good to meet up with enthusiastic locals or people on holiday who like exploring.
I lead around E2-ish, am happy to second easier routes, belay on harder, and abseil for gear if the cliff allows it. I'm an experienced and competent climber and very familiar with the usual sea-cliff nonsense of abseiling off tied together gorsebushes straight into the raging sea. I'll be in my car with all my gear, a well thumbed guide and a set of prussiks.
If anyone is interested please PM me, email fiendophobia [at] googlemail [dot] com or text 07958 343645 (from Fri onwards will be mobile only).
Thanks!
