Looks fucking amazing! Surely more than good enough to get some beasts up to scotland to try it.

Some beasts need to go up and try Dave and Malcs Dumby problems as well, i don't think people appreciate how hard they really are.

He keeps coming back to it every so often it would be amazing if he gets it done. It'll be 8C that for sure but he'll probably give it 8B+  ;)

Ahhh ok, grade was a guess, as i didn't know how hard traverse in was. Is the arete thought to be 8b or 8a+? Quite fancy this as a long term proj?

I went over to Lochaber to have a look at this a couple of months ago.  Unfortunately I couldn't see more than a couple of feet in front of me at the time as the mist was well and truly in.  Looks sweet - proper nice moves.

I'm back up there in October - cannot wait to try this!  Big ups.

Glen Nevis is often described as one of the most beautiful parts of Scotland, and that is definitely one of the most beautiful parts of the glen.

Dave gave it 8A, Malcolm thought it was hard 8A+. They both used the same method (i.e. the one Dave uses in the YouTube video). I've heard it said that Dave had a big jump in strength when he did it after sport climbing in Spain, and consequently undergraded it. Ben Litster thought it had the hardest moves at Dumbie. There were a few moves he couldn't do. It's a nicely workable problem, like Sabotage - you can do it in sections and feel like you're making progress instead of just falling off the same move for ages. However, before investing any emotional capital in it have a go at doing the move off the left hand pocket. It makes a little cut in the pad of my index finger, to the extent that I couldn't have back-to-back sessions on it. If you've got leather skin you might be OK.

Yeah I have been quite a few times. It's pretty but so are many other bits.

It's a stunning spot and the rock is amazing with really really nice moves. Had the pleasure of bumping into Dave up there and watching him work on it which was totally inspiring. All credit and congrats to him for sending it.

Really? "It’s in one of the most scenic spots in Scotland, but I’ve never once seen another soul there apart from folk I’ve gone up there with."
