Cheers cheque! Pembroke definitely seems like a good place to 'go for it.' Get some reasonable fitness and give it a go!

I'm flattered by your confidence in me! What sport grade would you give Star Wars? I've been to Pembroke every summer since I started climbing and usually try and push the boat out (metaphorically speaking)- last year it rained every day so much of my list remained unticked but this year will hopefully be different!

Cretin- do it.

Love reading the Power club posts!

Whats the requirements for joining the power club ? :D I think sharing my training might help me stay motivated, but I'm not half as beastly as some of the grades I'm seeing tossed around in here!!

The only requirement is a vague commitment to post each week however rubbish that week has been. Hopefully you will find it motivating and a useful record to refer back to.
And never talk about Power Club.

Consider me in then. No gruesome initiation ceremony? I am disappointed ;)

Will make my first post next week... in the meantime I guess i'd better go do something worth writing about.....

6b+ish. Some small run outs above good gear. One slightly scary one at the start, but easy climbing really.

M- Nothing
T- Really bad climbing session just wasn't feeling strong and couldn't even manage to finish my usual fingerboarding at the end of the session
W - Decent gym session probably due to not doing much hard climbing the day before.
T - Rest
F - Another bad session just didn't get the feel of the problems i was trying. Ended up with me taking far too many attempts at easy climbs
S - Nothing
S - Great climbing session back in the groove now
