scoup de grace
April 02, 2012, 09:07:05 pm
spent a lot of time on this last summer and was now i'm back in manchester i'm keen to get back on it.

managed to get up to the scoup but not sure where to go from here although i've shunted it from in the scoup to the top i know there's a crimp up and left in the scoup but i can't fathom how to get up to it in order to use it. or is it possible to move right and rock in from the right, i've seen some pictures and heard tale of people doing this but again, similar situation.

anyone that's done it, i'd be greatful if you could shed some light.

cheers,
Matt

From the decent crimps at the bottom left of the scoop you do a big rock onto right foot, see here:

Then without any handholds step across and up to a decent hold, undercut I think, then exit more easily right. If you've got to the scoop you done by far the hardest bit.

The hard bit is getting from the floor to the crimps about where his balls are. Unless you're massive. Don't remember the move up being a big deal.
